Notice is hereby given to the members of Edmonton Bengali Association (EBA) that the Annual General Body Meeting (AGM) per Clause 7.1 of By-laws will be held as follows:
Date: March 28, 2021 (Sunday)
Time: 1 pm to 3 pm
Location: Online (via Zoom-details will be communicated in due course)
The Agenda of the AGM will be as follows:
1. Meeting call to order and approval of the agenda
2. Approval of the resolution of holding virtually this AGM session
3. Review of minutes of the last AGM
4. Review of the financial statements of the association for the year 2020-2021
5. Presentation and discussion of the reports of the Executive Committee, Facility and
Casino Committee
6. Discussion of any other matters relevant to EBA – if time permits
7. Election of New Executive Committee and Selection of other Committee Members
8. Adjournment of AGM
Based on prior consultation, a Nomination and Election Committee (NEC), as per Clause 6.1 of bylaws
has been formed. The members of the NEC are as follows:
