Welcome message from the President of Edmonton Bengali Association 2022-2023

Dear respected members,


I hope this e-mail finds you in good health, safe and looking forward to a freer environment of 2022. On behalf of the Executive Committee of Edmonton Bengali Associations, we would like to thank you for giving us an opportunity to serve you for the year 2022-2023 fiscal year. Please join me in welcoming all executives committee members who are excited to serve you and eagerly waiting to meet you in person at the earliest possible event.


We understand the pandemic led to severe restrictions on the two past year’s programs and we thank our past Executive Committee for giving their best efforts throughout these conditions.


Today because of a freer environment our present EC is planning improvements to celebrate a broader variety of functions with all of you. 


Please note that we are going to organize our first in person get together “Poila Boisakh” on the 16th April, Saturday at our facility. The details are as follow


Date: 16th April 2022 (Saturday)

Venue:- EBA facility 4141-98 St NW, Edmonton, AB, T6E 6N5

Time: Boishakhi Mela (Fun fair-food stall & adda) 5:00PM to 7:00 PM

Informal cultural show 7:00 PM to 8:00 PM

Boxed dinner will be provided

Floor will be open for enjoyment dance & adda  

Door close: 10:00 PM

We also request our members to please RSVP by 10th April 2022 a survey will follow soon.


We are looking to our associations’ future by encouraging all members to actively participate in all of our programs.  Again, on behalf of our executive committee I ask that you step forward and become involved in all aspects of our activities.


You are all bona fide members of this organization. Therefore, we, encourage you to come forward with your concern and suggestions.
